We keep our use of cookies to the minimum needed to run the service.
Essential cookies

None of these three is set when you simply visit a page: each is written only when you sign in. All three are strictly necessary for a service you have requested and are therefore exempt from consent under §25(2) TDDDG. None of them track you across other websites.
One further cookie, stradep_session, exists for site administration and is set for seven days only after an access passphrase is entered. It is never set for ordinary visitors.
We also store your cookie choice itself in your browser, under sr-cookie-consent — that is not a cookie but local storage, it stays on your device, and it exists only so we can honour the choice you made.
Analytics cookies (consent required)
When you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner, we load Google Analytics (GA4, provided by Google Ireland Ltd.) to measure how the site is used. It is configured for analytics only: IP addresses are anonymized and advertising / remarketing signals are off.
These analytics cookies are non-essential and are set only after your consent:
- _ga — distinguishes visitors (expires after ~2 years).
- _ga_* — keeps session state for a specific Analytics property (expires after ~2 years).
If you choose “Essential only,” or have not chosen yet, none of these are loaded or set. You can withdraw consent at any time; we then stop loading Google Analytics and clear these cookies.
